sorry i am a complete noob. i have actually had my navigation for over a year, i just never really thought that it could be modded so crazy. anyways, i was wondering what i needed to do in order to get the 3.0 update on my f90bt. i am not sure what it is i need to do. i read the post on what i need to do to get 3.0, im just not sure if theres something im supposed to do first. something about a testmode or something like that. also, not too good with computers and such so i have no idea what it means to unzip files and all that good stuff. thanks for all the help.

sorry if this sounds rather noobish but i dont really have any idea when it comes to cars. i am currently interested in buying a navigation for my 2008 scion tc and i cant decide which to get. would you guys recommend the d3 of the f90 (if i can get either for the same price)? and also, if i were to get one of these navigation units, would i have to buy additional wires (link please)? and also i think i need to buy brackets in order for it to fit snug? one more question, would i really need the ipod adapter if my car comes with one already?
