  1. This is the weirdest thing - over the last couple months the 8200 I have had installed in my wife's car for the last few years has randomly decided to not start up sometimes. It works with the backup camera as she gets out of the driveway, but then it won't do anything else - and if she ends up going into reverse again at some point the backup camera doesn't initiate a 2nd time. Does anybody have any idea what this would be? It didn't start like overnight - it started happening like once a week, now it won't turn on at all. Is it totally done?
  2. okay I feel like I'm doing something stupid here. I've got an iPod classic 160GB, full of songs and custom playlists. If I connect it, it shows up as iPod 2 (phone is iPod 1) and I can quickly and easily navigate anywhere on the iPod - except if I click any playlist, artist, or whatever - it just takes me down levels until I select a song, and then it just plays that song and that song alone on endless repeat. How do I start a playlist off the iPod? I mean, it sees the playlists and even lets me select the song, but then it only plays that song and not the whole playlist. Help appreciated.
  3. Nail on the head. I have an F90BT and my wife has an X910BT in her car. Fucking terrible compared to my buddies new Ford Flex with Sync. My list: 1 - Capacitive touch screen - this is really a no-brainer. Resistive touch screens are slow to respond (unsafe to use while driving), and less accurate. 2 - Better NAV features. Add a quick-and-easy "cancel" button. How about an easily accessed "alternate route" button? My dad's $150 Garmin GPS has these features and they're buried in menus on the Pioneer stuff. 3 - Traffic receiver (as above) 4 - Voice recognition (as above) 5 - Bluetoo
  4. I have a 2007 GMC Sierra (new body style) and for the past 2 years I've had the SIR-PNR1 paired with either the Avic-D3 or, within the past 9 months, the Avic-F90BT. Since the truck came stock with XM, it already had a satellite antenna and I just rewired the connector to be compatible with the Sirius PNR1 box. For over 2 years it's been working fine with both head units. About a week ago, I was listening to Sirius during my drive home and suddenly the audio died out and the display on the F90BT said "Antenna Error" and kept flashing. Now that's all it does. Since an antenna is a f
  5. I'm trying to find the answer to this but I'm not sure. Right now I've got a 2007 GMC Sierra with the Avic D3 in it. I've never really been happy with the sound quality or the sluggish response from the iPod control, so I'm thinking of upgrading to the F90bt. I have the PAC adapter for the steering wheel controls, as well as the one for the door chimes/Onstar. I've currently got the SIR-PNR1 or whatever, for Sirius. I've also got the iPod cable hooked up. Most of the time I'm either listening to Sirius or the iPod - is it worth it to upgrade? A place locally will sell me th
