  1. if the hack replaces the tire flash drive on the unit and therefore replaces the corrupt files then it should solve the problem. the issue is their is no "cause" for the problem that has been identified so there is a possibility you will need to go back in and remove those .bin files again in the future...
  2. UPDATE: After reading a few other threads were others were having a similar problem I tried what worked for others and it seems to have cured my reboot issue! I booted in Testmode and deleted the following files (in this order): gpspara3.bin, gpspara2.bin, gpspara1.bin, and gpspara0.bin Went for a quick 10min test drive and used the Nav functions (including setting a route) and all seems to be working fine.

I started in Testmode and deleted these files: gpspara3.bin, gpspara2.bin, gpspara1.bin, and gpspara0.bin (in that order) Hopefully this will solve others problems. If mine crashes/reboots again I'll let everyone know...

  5. hey guys, need some help here... My unit started rebooting itself the other day. It has been working fine for several weeks and the day it started having this problem I had not done anything different with the unit. Was working fine...parked the car for a few hours...went to drive home and it would just keep rebooting. I checked all the wiring in case a power wire had come loose....but all seemed fine.   6. Hi guys I searched and didn't find any specific instructions for how to back up the 900BT software. I see many mentions of making sure to do it before loading any modified or updated versions. Someone plz point this n00b in the right direction! Thanks!
