I called it a magnum because that's what it is. I understand you completely though. As for the pac adapters (1) was used to mate the wiring to the OEM radio plug, (1) so I could retain my steering wheel controls and (1) to translate the signal from the Z1 to canbus.

I finally got the unit installed and everything is working fine except that the unit doesn't power up everytime. I have a dodge magnum srt8 w/kicker amp and speakers. I'm also using (3) pac modules (C2R-CHY,SWI-CAN,SWI-PS) which lets me keep my steering wheel controls. I first thought the radio fuse was blown and after pulling and checking the fuse, the radio came back on. now when this occurs I have to pull the fuse to get back running. I've also tried the reset button on the Z1 and that doesn't work either.

I found the problem with a little help from a 411 member. I had overlooked the blue/white wire because it was on the plug with some RCA inputs and I wasn't planning on using those. also the PAC interface works fine with the kicker amp.

I'm installing the Z1 into an dodge magnum srt8 with the oem kicker system and I can't get any sound when using the speaker outs for the front and when I use the rear I get a muffled sound. I'm having issues with the sound from my Z1. My car is a SRT8 with the oem kicker system. I'm trying to use (3) PAC modules, C2R-CHY,SWI-CAN,SWI-PS and the sound was muffled when I used the rear speaker leads for sound, then I read that I should use the front speaker leads, switched them over and now I have no sound. can anyone give me the correct wiring setup ???????
