  1. I do not think any company makes a Nav unit with all the options one person could ever want. If you really are willing to wait until there is the perfect Nav unit out there I guess you will be waiting a long time. Do I wish the ipod would pause during a phone call, sure but it was not a show stopper for me.
  2. I have had a F90BT for around the past 2 weeks. I had it professionally installed and the unit has worked pretty good. It seemed to have settled down after several days of use and has been working very well. Does it have bugs, sure if you look hard enough most electronic items do have issues. This series of nav units have a above average of bugs and most of them can be fixed via software updates. Did Pioneer rush this unit to market ? Yes, but they continue to work on issue with software updates. The F90BT has many functions and options and unless you read the manual and pl
  3. I had my F90BT professionally installed and they said they mount the gps antenna inside of the dashboard and it works just fine. They are correct I have had no reception issues and the antenna is hidden inside out of site.
  4. I have MSN on a Garmin 780 portable GPS and it works very well and is about 85% accurate which is pretty good. So I was expecting the same function and performance on the F90BT with MSN. The data does load in a fairly timely manner but nothing comes up on the main screen when traffic issues are uploaded to the unit. On my Garmin unit when you have entered a route and then some delays in that route come up it pops up and tells you. On the F90BT it says in the manual that it computes your original route based on the current traffic at that time. If you have the option configured t
  5. Well I drove about 3 hours today and the F90BT was behaving itself much better than yesterday with no reboots Also I got closer to a area with strong MSN direct reception and my subscription showed up as active and I actually saw green bars on the screen So all in all it was a very good day for the F90BT
  6. Thanks for the replies. Yes I registered and activated my free 90 day msn subscription via the website and had the radio turned on for over 1 hour when the activation was taking place. I am glad others have no bars and the service still works. I did contact the dealer that installed the F90BT and he indicates that they have seen the problem with unable to receive MSN or reception issue and it was due to the cars factory antenna not working properly or not working at all. They are recommending a amplified antenna that mounts on the dash from Metra to improve the reception. I am going
  7. I just purchased a F90BT from 6th Avenue and it arrived this week. I had the unit installed professionally by a local Pioneer dealer including the Pioneer XM adapter. The Good The dealer did a awesome job and the quality of the installation was great and everything looks top notch The Bad I noticed when I end phone calls via the bluetooth between my F90BT and my LG Dare it takes 1-2 minutes for the F90BT to function again. Also sometimes it just reboots for no reason while touching the buttons on the screen. This has happened about 3 times today. The Ugly During one o
  8. All my AM & FM presets reset at random but my XM presets stayed put correctly ? I noticed my presets went away after the F90BT panicked and rebooted.
  9. I just ordered a F90BT and I was reading the installation manual. The Orange/White wire indicates it should go to the lighting switch terminal. In my 2003 Corolla there are two lighting related wires Radio Illumination Wire=Green Stereo Dimmer Wire=White/Black Since both wires are have some light functions which one of the 2 Corolla wires should I connect the Orange/White wire to ? Thanks
