Tap into the wire harness from a cable from the backup cam? I think I hooked a cable up to the wire harness from the GMOS-04 harness I have. I do know when I put my truck in reverse it would turn on the black screen (turned that off since I dont have a cam) So would I just need to ground the black wire and hook up the RCA?

Im looking to get one, got the unit already installed... how easy is the install? Is it literally plugging the RCA cable into the Brown connection? Or do I need to solder/splice anything into the wire harness? Also, whats a good one for a GMC truck?

And how do you know that 2009.6 is the latest?

I noticed when I had cockpit overview on or whatever its called, I no longer have the option to mute or delete the route from the icon next to the quick launch menu...

Yes, that can be done but I doubt it will make it into the next release. The next release will be V3 due to the number of changes. It will probably be V3.1 before we get to that Cheers 34by151 This is why I called it v3

You assumed I was talking about the 3.0 FW. Not sure why you would think I would post in the completed mods/themes section for a FW, but I was referring to v3.0 of the Diaftia mod....hence posting in this section

How do you bring up the settings quick menu? I did it once but cant seem to do it again....

Does anyone know why the color scheme on this is a little off? Doesnt look as "smooth" as the screenshots. I do have 3.o FW, was this meant for 2.0 only?

I noticed that when I use the "quick menu" to pull up the POI's it doesnt seem to pull up the nearest locations. If I go to Menu > destination > POI > I have more flexibility. One thing I want to add... if on this "new version" you could make an arrow (up, down, left, right) when searching for POI's so it can tell you in which direction it is That would be awesome. As always though... great mod!

My question is, how you get down to the specific restaurant chain in the manage POI section? I just see a vague POI.... Restraurants > American, then I can only edit the "american" one... I guess what Im asking is what category do they fall in.

Franchises... Starbucks and Safeway are right by my house... all I see are bread symbols. Not "new" businesses per say. I live in Seattle... there should be a Starbucks showing up on every other block

I noticed that more came up, but how do you add individual businesses to specific POI's? Like restaurants.... how would you get down to the specific restaurant to add the one POI to?

Awesome.... I would def. love to see that feature. Its a pain when you have to cancel out of the search listings and search again while you're moving. On another note, is there an easy way to delete a via point via the quick menu? Im deleting the whole destination, then re-adding it now. The other feature that is coming that I absolutely love and have seen in other nav systems is an arrow showing what direction the POI is in. My big thing is if I search for a gas station and there are 2 chevrons within 2 miles of me I don't rightfully want to go to the one that is behind me.

I copied this file over and went to do a search for POI's and it wouldnt generate anything, 0 results.... Im really tired of driving around and seeing nothing but bread and default gas stations.... someone help!

There is a search for POI's around cursor in the quick menu. You can also go to the route planning screen and click on the search button there too. As far as the mute all the time, that is in the next release. Thats what Ive been doing as far as POI searches.... only thing Im running into as an issue is when I do a search for something, one would think that it would sort by closest and as I was driving (while still in the search results screen) the distance would get smaller since I was driving towards that POI, and if I passed that POI then it would go away from the search field and

I would go for poi search then type in starbucks.It will list all the starbucks with the nearest at the top of the list.As for your second point,just don't plan a route then you won't get either the turn directions or the voice prompts????? Thats the way I've been doing it, wasnt sure if there was another way. I noticed that when Im driving and on that search screen, the miles to the destination dont update. Is that done on purpose? My standalone NAV would count down the miles if I were driving towards it, and remove from the search if I drove passed it.

Whats the best way to bring up a list of the nearest POI's? For example... say I'm parked (for legal purposes:)) and I want to look for the nearest Starbucks. I press the quick menu, then POI, then...? This is where I get a little confused. And do you know if there's a way to always have the turn by turn directions set to off rather then muting it all the time on a new route?

How would I go about "upgrading" from Diaftia's Hybrid mod? Is it a simple copy/replace of some files?
