What about a reg editor? Can we do anything like that. I do it with my phone all the time. I am unsure if you can do the same stuff with the diff erent versions of windows or if it would have to be differently. What if its as simple as changing a value from 0 to 1?

I have installed the deck, done the mute wire change attempted the 128 mile software change but the deck read the file as having an error and would not install the update because of this. When I put dvd's in I get a "disc reading error 12" message. I dont have some of the options. The sd card will not update the unit. I have read and searched and have not found any answers. I tried everything that I could find.
