Dont know about the Avox, but you do have to have a video capable ipod in order to play videos from your ipod to the D3.

I ran into this situation today, i was cruising to work with no route entered at .25 zoom, i ejected the disk and at about 3.5 to 4 miles later the car icon ran off of the map and it zoomed to about a 10 to 15 mile zoom level. So it doesnt seem to hold much at all.

So where is the service menu on the other units, i tried search but i didnt get anything, let me know how to get to it and ill check it out right now.

This didnt work very well in my car.

You can select several video clips through the touch screen if you arrange them in a video playlist on the ipod. That little detail is not in the manual.

I have an 05 civic, i tried mounting mine several places with very week signal. The places i tried were various places on the dash up against the windshield, both center and on both sides of the dash. All places on the dash did not work very well so i ended up mounting both GPS & XM on the roof of the car, GPS up front and XM to the rear. I now get full signal strength on both.

It seems to only inform you of your navtraffic signal if you have that option so i dont think there is any feature that shows just XM radio reception.

Because they fall off possibly causing a nasty short.

You can of course set the unit to give you multiple routes to your destination. Go to MENU, ROUTE OPTIONS, set ROUTE NUMBER to multiple. That might solve your problem. Still dont ecspect it to be perfect all the time.

Assuming you have a D3, go to menu, traffic/info, poi overlay, and uncheck or delete all of the poi's at the bottom.

My address is about a mile off, house was built in 97

I did report this issue to Pio today. They did seem receptive on the issue and said they would write the issue up to have the enginerring guys look into it. They said maybe it would be addressed in a future update.

Any of you guys have a razr v3 that wont autoconnect?

Has anyone actually put the cd-btb100 bluetooth module to good use with the D3 yet? What i would like to know is: did it auto connect to your phone when you turned on the unit and does it give the annoying echo that other units have. thanks

Yea, more people are killed buy speeding then drunk drivers. And if you kill someone while speeding! You go to prison, just as if you were drunk. Most people i dont think realize they could do time if they are involved in an accident while speeding.

VSS is connected and giving a strong pulse reading so i know thats not the problem. So it sounds like this is normal and just map data inaccuracies then right. And this is an issue with other units other then the D3?

Guys, im getting really inaccurate POI icon placement on the map in some areas, some as much as a block off. Do you think this is just inaccurate map data on the disk or bad antenna reception.

Im not sure with my Plextor, but it worked

No special steps required, just a dl drive and burning software. I used toast 8 and plextor drive with Verbatim +r dl disk. The disk arnt copy protected.

I have the same problem, it works for about 10 minutes and then it does nothing when you hit it, that is just 1 of about 4 or 5 bugs ive come accross on the D3 GUI so far.

I did it and it works for me, just like the instructions say, tell your installer on here, if he is on here to look a little harder.

The first thing i did was copy mine. The disk are also not copy protected so you dont have to decode them to copy them, just copy with your dvd writing software to DL disk.
