Spoke to Pio today about the difference between the 100 and 200 as to weather it is woth waiting for. He said that the big difference with the 200 is that they lowered the mic gain to reduce the echo problems. He said the problem had been pretty much solved. He also said the 200 would be available in about 3 to 5 weeks.

My D3 arrives on tuesday and i just need to be clear on the PB wire grounding. There are 2 wires connected to the parking brake switch according to the install manual on line. Which one of these do i ground and do i need to cut the switch off in order to do this properly? thanks

chink, so you just grounded the pb wire and that was it, no flipping of switch or anything?

The D3 has PASSWORD anti theft deterrence. Probably wont stop anyone from stealing it but no-one will be able to use it without the password, I guess

I talked to a pioneer support rep today and he said they havnt gotten their demo units yet and the unit will not be out until May.
