This is possible only in 3D-mode. In 2D, the map won't rotate. Common problem around here due to iGo 8.0. In version 8.3, it is solved, but this won't run natively on the Pioneer... If you want to use iGo 8.3, look for "leetlauncher" in the forum, works like a charm for me.

Yeah, did it from day 1. Maybe I'll have to live with it, because in all other respects, the F700 works like a charm - thanks to this forum.

I read the manual, turned overview off.... ...zilch. Keeps switching into 2D

Hi everybody, finally my first post. I've read a lot during the last weeks, managed some hacks - but one question remains, and the manual isn't very helpful: Is there any way to only use 3D-navigation? The "no-north-up in 2D"-issue is bothering me as well as all of you, but in fact, I don't use the 2D-screen at all. Unfortunately, while navigationg after some time, my unit (F700) switches from 3D to 2D. Any way to prevent that? I have tried the search - to no avail
