  1. My guess is that other connector carries the switched power connection and the ground for the unit. I installed mine using the ND-G500 amp that is optional and it includes a connection for this lead that provides the switched power and it must also provide ground since I see no other ground connection. If you can find a connector with the two wires that could probably work.   2. I installed the ND-G500 with the F500BT in a 2008 Armada and...best of all did not cut or splice into a single vehicle wire. Here is what I did: The ND-G500 connectors are ISO connectors. For the female connectors, I bought a harness - i believe made by metra, but I could be wrong - but I looked it up on the internet and found it as standard ISO female connector. The male connector is actually the same as the VW standard harness.   3. I installed it underneath my dash, on the driver side, next to the kick panel on a 2008 Armada. As you know, the wiring harness is kind of long so I had to wrap and stick a good part of it inside the dash, just below the radio unit.
