  1. Tried deleting files from speedcam and userdata, but it is still stuck on the same screen. I really don't remember doing anything to the EZrider. I used to run your v2.3. Then i tried loading the v3 and it didn't work. I can check to make sure i'm running v3 if you tell me how. Just replaced the EZrider and license with the one from the first post here. Same issue.
  2. Same thing with option #1 - shows "system startup in progress. please wait". I can click some buttons while it shows it and it seems that if i press "Destination" it shows me a Pioneer logo and has "POI Manager INIT" in the lower right corner. C
  3. I used your installer and did not touch anything. Extract files to the blank card, put into AVIC, booted, selected US Model F500 (which is what i have).
  4. Just installed this mod on fresh v3 release, removed maps for some states (As otherwise i didn't have enough space) now the system boots up and gets stuck at "system startup in progress. please wait". Never leaves this screen.
  5. Hey man, I've posted in your v2.3 thread that I loose NAV guidance voice with your earlier mod (v2.3) and you suggested I try this one. I did and my F500BT won't finish booting as it says not enough memory (i assume memory for running apps, not "hard drive" space). Thanks a lot
  6. For some odd reason, when i add the MOD to F500BT - I loose any kind of audio through Pioneer unit (NAV guidance, etc). Any idea?
  7. Tried to install this mod on a fully updated F500BT that runs Pioneer's release without issues - and after loading the mod the system will not boot - says not enough memory.
  8. 1) look for and download "Testmode" to SD card - reboot your system and let is come up with Windows interface. Now you can copy files to SD card and make backups of everything on your system 2) download mods, firmware and maps from locations indicated on this forum and copy them from SD card to appropriate folders on the navi. 3) 2010 EU maps are out and i think are called CNSD-250FM http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/products/25 ... index.html Read the hacks/mods section until you understand all of the steps. It took me a day to figure out how to do what i needed to do, but after all it
  9. Same here - awesome work! Now my navi is much better than most much more expensive units - just loving it. Good work man.
  10. Hey guys, Can someone update this with the proper steps/files? It seems that there is some incomplete information here and file links don't work anymore. I would like to update my F500BT as well
  11. 1) i have similar issue with grinding but stopped using their mount. 2) Have no idea about the map , if you did 2.0 update - you are on the latest stuff. 3) I've hooked up 500BT+amp+iPod+backup camera in my Toyota Highlander - sound from iPod is great through car's speakers. It doesn't go VERY loud, but loud enough for me (amp is only 50w channel). It is a great all around multi-media+navi system. I can watch movies from iPod or SD card, listen to iPod music, listen to radio and get navi prompts, see rear view from camera... sound is great, unit is awesome, bluetooth works fine....I'm h
  12. So the yellow from ND-G500 also always has power? If i understand you right - i should not connect direct from the battery AND yellow from ND-G500. Either one or the other, right? Thanks!
  13. Hey guys, So I've finally got around to installing the system - but i can't figure out what the manual says about the yellow cable. In F500BT connection guide in picture 8 they show it connected to ND-G500. Yet right there they also say to connect it to the always on 12V source. So i need to connect the yellow to ND-G500 or just to 12V directly from car battery?
  14. Guys - those who got this camera - is it a reverse image one? It doesn't say on their ebay page. How is the quality of the image?
  15. Here is a pic of the Pioneer harness that comes with the amp. No Metra harness i've seen will fit this. Plus Metra harness for Toyota has 6 pins, when two of the small plugs on Pioneer have 8 wires (4 speakers on one plug, and 8 different car signals (mute, ilumination, brake, power, etc) on the other plug
