I have it hooked up with the ipod cable to the USB port on the back... No rca's used... Like I was saying... The ipod control consol comes up on my HU and you can see that the music playing but you get no audio. As far as the VR dictionary that is constantly updating.... It only does it when cennected to the ipod Please reread the post, you have not hooked it up correctly, with USB only you will get ipod control, but, and wait for it.. NO AUDIO... USB = Ipod control RCA = Audio and video.. I hope that makes it clear, and it's covered in the install documentation.. VR Catalog? yup.

I did a search and didnt really find what my situation was... so.. I have an f700bt... I just bought the ipod touch 32GB. when I connect it to the HU via USB, it stays on updating VR Dictionary....please wait for over 30 minutes... is this usual? if I go into the System Settings and turn off the VR Recogition, then when I connect my ipod it play but no audio comes out to the speakers.

how did you load 3.0 when the SD Card reader didnt read?

I did a search and didnt find anything related to the SD Card lost not reading as well as the USB not reading. here are the details. SD CARD SLOT ISSUE the HU detects that there is an SD card in the reader but always says loading data. I tried 4 different cards, some loaded with data some with just a few songs. I get nothing. with the HU on, I eject the SD card, HU shuts off. Oposite when the card is inserted, turns on but never loads. USB PORT ISSUE the light went off in my head and said to myself.... "Self.... you ID10T!!! you have a USB port also!" so I loaded a small 2

Navi/System Settings, Dial Pad not accessible in idle....
