  1. so it took forever to find what was wrong a couple days ago. but i did find that somewhere in between my front speaker and the deck there was a short somewhere in the stock wiring. i did not want to try and find exactly where it was so i ran new wires. all is good now as far as that goes...
  2. do you think the d3 will shut down sound if i hooked all the positive/ negative speaker wires with the black stripe being positive instead of negative?
  3. seems to be a somewhat common prob. i found another avic member with the same issue. again, this is just for reference if it happens to anyone else
  4. so i did some more searching and i found a thread. so im gonna check from there. just thought if anyone had the same prob. this might be useful.
  5. you can check the illumination wire connection on the back of your deck. (orang/white)
  6. so i installed my D3 the other day and everything went fine. everything was working perfect. last night all of a sudden all the sound went out except for my sub (running on a separate 2 channel). moments later the d3 threw up a caution screen saying to check my parking brake connection. so i tore everything down again to find everything was straight. my ACC wire was broke, but i reconnected and theres still no sound. theres no caution screen popup anymore, but there is still only my sub playing. it seemed it turned off right when i tried to use my new remote but that cant be possible. jus
