  1. We use Metra kits. Never had issues with this before. The F series units aren't enormous but they get big real quick if you have RCA cables plugged in. Is the issues that the kit makes it sit extended from the dash or is it that he couldn't press it in far enough? On a lot of cars, including Fords there is sometimes a steel tab in the back that supports the factory unit. Sometimes the factory unit is much shallower and we have to cut that tab off to get everything in. Just need more details as to if it is a vehicle issue or a dash kit issue.

I used it with a jump drive formatted FAT32. No issues with videos or music. Used it with an SDHC card. No issues with videos or music. Now... Unit will only read CDs. Nothing else. Will not make phone calls either which it used to do. Whenever I try to load some media besides CDs it will just say loading indefinitely. Unit is running 2.0 with BT 3.3. 3. No one seems to say much about this. This is my second Pioneer unit that I have done it to. Buy an external hard drive and reformat it FAT32 and throw on a bunch of music. My 5000UB had a limit on the number of folders and files. That is fine. Anyways, before I bought my F700BT I made sure to see what the capacity was on folder and file capacity. In Pioneer's manual I swear it said unlimited. However, I found on a few sites it said only 99 folders and 999 files. I would sure be angry if Pioneer was wrong. Anybody able to confirm the max capacity on reading an external hard drive. Thanks,
