Hello and Good Morning / Evening, Now I have looked all in my instruction manual and I can not find an answer to my question. When I am driving downtown by city hall and in parts in the county, their are some street on my nav that are pink. What does this mean? I thought maybe it was a new road without a lot of data or something but even with the update just installed they are still there. Thanks for everyones help. James.

Hello Every One, I was just curious, since I am now on summer vacation from college, would anyone be interested in any splash screens I could make using either anime or asian themes?

quick question: has anyone tried to use a animated gif file for the splash screen yet?

I will probably also start to make some more screens in my spare time of various topics and items. I go to college and am a manager at an automotive parts distributor so I am not always able to create as much as I would like.

I am currently at work and my laptop is at my house, but as soon as I get home around 1:30a / 2:00a EST, I will have the PSD file as well as the resized file uploaded. I am glad that you like it. When the F900BT boots upa nd the screen gets brighter after a second or two, it looks perfect.

This is for all of the Ford drivers out there. I didn't find anything I could really get into as a splash screen so I made my own. The space image came from a user on DeviantArt as well as the Loading Bar and the Ford Logo came from on Yahoo. Enjoy. I have the proper sized 800x480 without the black bars still to upload.

Hey All, I bought my F900BT a little under two months ago for $577 from my work and a $130 to me is worth the money if it fixes all the bugs that the unit has with the ipod as well as touch screen response. I love the unit. I was using a cheap Navigon unit before this as I was in the process of buying a new truck. But even on the $99 navigon had the road signs, so I can't wait for the new update to have them back. Does anyone have any screen shots of the updated maps besides the ones of the avic-x series maps?

I have the same problem, but I also have a video problem where it wont play unless i tap the screen hit play again, (still stays stopped on screen menu) and then it plays. When i turn the car back on it starts back in music mode too.

I know this is said a lot on the forum but double check your conversion of video on the ipod. I found that if you take a source and use a convert program such as videoera it creates an mp4 file and seems to work fine with the system. I am running a 900bt and it works with the mp4 files as video. Only problem i ran into is that the unit doesnt always recognize the video and i have to press somewhere on the screen to get the ipod control back up, then hit play, then hit hide. I then wait a few seconds and it plays fine after that.

I bought the f900BT less then 3 months ago so I really hope that the update comes out soon to make it better. Version 2.0 was a great enhancement from what I have seen (youtube videos and tech reviews), but there is still a lot of fixes to be done. Did anyone say about the price range and if it does in fact change the maps from teleatlas? I can't wait to upgrade the programming if it is going to be the same or close to the new units programming.
