  1. Are you sure about that? What would be the point of having to enter a password during the update process then? It seems to me that the password is generated based on the device ID using a specific algorithm. And, that unique password will only work on that device. Otherwise, what is to stop people from simply using that same password on a 2nd or 3rd unit, ad infinitum? And, the media ID is the single-use key through the gateway to the password generation. Correct me if I'm wrong. (Quite frankly, I'm hoping that I am, and one can use the same password on multiple units.) Your rig
  2. Has anyone tried to update more than one radio with the same SD update cards. I have two vehicles at my house that both have a f700bt and i would hate to buy two sets of cards if i can do it with one.
  3. Thanks, i wasn't sure if the radio would dim so i will have to hook it up, it was very bright the first night i had it on.
  4. Just set up my F700BT in my 2000 Avalon XLS, this is what i think so far, other than i'm very happy with my purchase. The start up time isn't bad, by the time i'm out of my driveway the audio is up, when i get to the end of the street the bluetooth is connected. One thing i will say is don't bother trying to use the radio untill after the bluetooth is connected, even after the system is up it is slow to respond, after it connects to the phone its good to go. The bypass worked awesome, everyone wants one now. I hope in the next update that with the Sirius info display it will show both art
