  1. This is a great mod, thanks for compiling all the work and for all the hard work of those who made the mods, thank you too! One question: How does one change orientation/perspective modes? For example on the 3.0 firmware one could click on the compass and the views would toggle from 2D North Up, to 2D Direction up, to 3D driver's perspective. I am not quite sure how to do this! I went on a roadtrip and for certain segments there were issues with this... the road was viewed sideways and I was traveling along it in the same direction. It was very confusing and frustrating, becau
  2. This has absolutely nothing to do with the thread, you may want to ask in another thread that actually be related to the issue. Oh you're right, it has nothing to do with an iPhone and Avic F90BT and the combination of both new firmwares.
  3. but did any of you lose Voice recognition? Mine works very poorly after 3.0 firmware and 3.01 iPhone, not sure which is the problem!
  4. My friend has a Ford Fusion with Sync and also an iPhone 3G with the new firmware. I'm going to ask him how his VR works after the 3.01 firmware, although Sync is a different animal.
  5. Honestly the iPhone A2DP streaming audio is very poor quality. It is also choppy. You're NOT missing ANYTHING! both myself and a friend have streamed it and have been disappointed in the quality. He's got a Ford Fusion with Sync.
  6. I am having the very same issue. I've written-off VR. It's THAT BAD! iphone 3G 3.01, F90BT 3.0 firmware
  7. does the preset up/down go from track to track on the iPod and from station preset to preset on the radios? Is there a voice command option for programming a button? I have a voice command button on my steering wheel (03 Cadillac DHS).
  8. Ah. So the only reason to get a steering wheel button interface would be for volume and tune/seek? But: it won't work to control iPod (other than volume) What commands on the steering wheel work, and is this all from trying it or does Pioneer release any information on what wired remotes can control?
  9. The reason is the video out is not high resolution (it's composite). There is no fix for this unfortunately. The only way to view it better is on a TV with a component R G B cable, but it's still then only 480i.
  10. Thanks, I actually found it, did it and it worked! Thanks for the walkthrough! I had done the hardware bypass first, but since I have an Onstar which requires the mute wire--it was making my F90BT reboot! which was an extremely obnoxious thing to do.
  11. sounds great.... however: download.php?id=4696 is not working for me... what is this second file? Thanks!
