Nada. When I push the OPEN CLOSE button (using manual nomenclature) the screen goes down about half an inch and right back to where it was and will repeat this every time you hit the OPEN CLOSE button. Holding it down causes absolutely nothing to happen. If I hold it down for more than 2 seconds, it won't try to open more or close. I've tried holding it down for 2 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, better part of a minute, you name it. Oh well. I contacted the seller about needing to return it. It's odd how they are quick to reply when you haven't bought anything yet suddenly they are nowher

No, thats not what I meant. I meant that I was turning the car off so that I could prepare to remove the radio but when I turned the car off with the radio still in the dash kit, the radio came up correctly. Even when I remove the radio completely and just hold it in place with no kit, it still performs poorly opening and closing and will not operate the disk drive. There is an update though. I've since found a way to use the radio but unfortunately this kind of confirms my whole Lemon suspicion. So I bought this Z3 at a pretty good price. I installed it along with this pretty sweet wiring harness that retained all of my Escalades features. Well I loaded it up and it kinda worked except: AV wouldn't show up, Rear View wouldn't show up, and i was having issues with the unit closing back.
