I've got a new twist on this. I have the F900 and a generic version of the Pioneer cable, that I finally got around to installing this weekend. My wife and I both have the 3GS, hers white, mine black, that is the only diff, they are both 32Gig. So I plug mine in and it does the plane thing, won't charge but works fine other than that, all music, video even internet streaming audio works perfectly. I have the exact same issue with my 900BT and 2003 4runner. MSN Direct was almost useless unless I was in the middle of town for extended periods of time. Radio stations are decent with HD tuner but 20 miles outside of town, i get alot of Digital to Analog switching. Just wondering if the booster helped.

Actually, I was looking for the differences between the two units, below is from Pioneer.com These descriptions are identical with exception to the COMPATIBLE HU's. Since Neither the 90BT nor the 900BT is on these lists, can we assume that the 20 brings no added functionality over the 10 for those HU's? I'm guessing we still won't get preset 'display'. GEX-P10HD GEX-P20HD

Also interested in the GEX P20HD. Hate to turn around and buy something new. I think Pineer should offer some sort of trade in value for the 10. I wouldn't say the GEX P10HD "WORKS" it functions, but no Preset Display?
