Hey.. Your mod looks great have you heard any uses from guys in the US using this (the speedcams in your mod are all UK based correct?) I had tried a mod early and it rebooted when I went over 80mph just wanted to be sure I hate the stock stuff.. Any help would be great.

Hey .. these mods look great.. Quick question do I need the new maps for this mod to work? I'm only going to use the data.zip (or do I need the sys too) not the schemes.. I've tried a few other put have had problems and I think it's because they were made for the UK. Also which button is the mute nav.. kills me when my music/books get's interupted to tell me I need to turn when I can see that I need to turn :-)/ THanks.

I don't know what is going on here. I have driven well over 80 using this mod without any reboots but then I am not using the software bypass. I can't even think of anything in the mods that would trigger at 80. Could it be something in the mod having to do with MPH vs. KPH? not sure? sucks cause I love the mod!

ok for some reason it's the Mod.. I drove 82mph with no problem with the stock data.zip.. I then added the GTI and at 80 it rebooted.. Went back to stock data.zip and drove 80 no reboot.. Any ideas anyone?

Ok started from scratch new unit (the other one had a scratch on the screen from the factory and amazon replaced it) installed the 256 bypass only and no reboot which is good.. Going to add the GTImatt mod now (still love it by the way.. ) and going for a test drive.. The people at my work are like where the hell do you keep going.. .LOL

I remember reading about this problem, and it wasnt the mods that was the problem its the bypass mod. 128 or whatever was the speed you changed to trick the system, but thats in kmph.. if you convert that to mph that is around 60 so miles an hour... you see? so you gotta rise up the number to trick the unit at a faster speed, im pretty sure. dont quote me... and I did the hardware bypass which is much more awesome. Ok so changed it to 256 and still reboots with the mod.. Going to try the 256 without the mod.

well you dont need to do the silencer mod cause you can lower the beeps in the master volume... but it lowers the voice command volume too. Other then that, i have no idea why it would be rebooting. Sounds like maybe the software mod wasnt done correctly, but i could be wrong. Change your speed setting to 256 or something. Ok cool.. I was just going to try to back out the mod.. and see if that fixes it.. Does 256 work?

I've done the apple theme,GTIMatt Mod and the silence.wav files to make the button silent.. Any idea's? It's fine under 61mph...
