  1. I have an 08 C6 base (no BOSE) with the F700Bt installed. My FM radio reception is weak, the AM is awful. Does your system have any problems? I already tried the 5v voltage regulator trick with no benefit. Thanks
  2. I got mine through Amazon for $350 but would NOT recommend buying it. I also bought a camera mostly to help back up with in a 2008 Corvette with darkly tinted windows. By the time you start the car and the camera system gets around to working, I am already out of the garage and around two corners. The navigation system is fun, but the modifications posted on this site are very hard to implement. It took me over a week, and I am an engineer. The main problem with this unit is that as a basic music player --it sucks. It usually takes 3 to 5 tries to switch from AM to FM with a detour

  4. One of the many things that is so frustrating with the F-700 is the lousy user interface. This thing was designed behind a desk, not tested in a car. One of the problems is that the main volume knob is just too small to mess with. My solution does not look as good as what is available on the other post, but it is easy, cheap, and works great. I went to Home Depot and bought a small bag of 3 rubber washers from the Fastener area. I think they were listed as 5/16" diameter for the center hole size and cost $ 0.79.   5. HI, I got a F700 a couple of weeks ago and have been messing with these hacks and has taken me a while to finally get results. I figure others may be having the same problems. Beside what is listed in the FAQ's I think that having this info in one place will help a lot. The file to work with is zipped inside of data.zip\ui_pioneer\ 800_480\ui\ navigatemap_800_480.ui It can be opened as a text file, you may need to change the last letters from .ui to .txt to get it open, then change it back when done with the hacks.
