I'm having the same issue with my F700. Where do we go from here?

I can't seem to turn on the front jack of my 700bt. I plug in the cable from my blackberry and I get no other options in my AV source screen. Can anyone help?

Is there any way to mute or lower the volume of the touch confirmation beeps? It beeps everytime I touch the steering wheel controls too. It drives me crazy! I read through the manual, but didnt see anything.
