  1. I'm not getting the connection between the satellite receivers having certain features (or not) and the HD Radio receivers not having the features we're describing with the F series. If the P10 and the P20 works with an FH- or DEH-series, that would indicate that the F-series IS the issue.
  2. FWIW, I've had zero problems with my 10 beyond the known issues with presets and data display... if the 20 doesn't add any features or fix any of the known issues on a F-series unit and wasn't having problems with the 10 I had, I'd keep the 10 and save the $ for gas...
  3. Manual is now available on the Pioneer site. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/DigitalRadio/HDRadio/GEX-P20HD?tab=D Manual also says iTunes tagging won't work where it's configured as an "external unit," and lists most of the other-letter AVIC series as units where it would be implemented as an external unit. Anyone have any insight as to whether this means the F-series units too?
  4. I shouldn't have a problem getting coverage here, but I am. Newman said the same about his coverage in DC. This is why I said give MSN a call... at the very least they could see what's going on on the network. I'd be surprised if they knew they were having signal problems for such a large mass of customers like you're having in LA...
  5. So you're saying that your CH+ and CH- are set to send Preset commands to your 90BT, and they work? Mine currently works, but only with CH+ and CH- set to Seek Up and Seek down, respectively, just like everyone else has written. This mode also acts the way you describe in iPod/CD/etc modes.
  6. If your unit can't get signal, you should check you antenna connection. If that doesn't work, make sure you can receive the two FM stations in your area that are sending the MSN data. If that doesn't work, I'd call MSN's support to complain. To compare, I'm in southwest FL and since I moved here in June my MSN Direct watch has stopped receiving data, despite me being near a major metro that is heavily covered by MSN. This wasn't a problem in Western Pennsylvania, however.
  7. I know this is an old thread, but I thought I'd share an updated experience with the new versions... I bought a full 700BT/GEX-P10HD/SWI-PS kit from Crutchfield last week. I had a local dealer install it all straight out of unopened boxes (read: unmodded 700BT) in my 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid, which has CH+/-, VOL+/-, and MODE steering controls. The only thing that didn't go as planned, which I expected, was the SWI-PS. After using the PAC install instructions, he wasn't able to get anything working properly: both + keys and the CH- were totally inoperable, the VOL- was muting the un
