i will give the new pic a try. the side black bars are about half inch each. it still looks bad ass but it would look better if it fit completely. is there a chance it is a problem with my settings on my head unit? i will take a pic of it and post it on here so you can see what i am talking about. you have been very helpful. i appreciate it a lot there is no way i could have done something like that pic. it will be a good touch when the truck is at shows and photo shoots.

sweet. i got it to work but you cant really see the faded fender shot of the truck. i am hoping that will be more clear in the night time. and is there supposed to be a black bar on each side of the splashscreen. Or is this just an image size issue? thanks again for your help i am pretty excited about having that as my loading page. lol

my truck was on the cover of off road mag 2 summers ago i would like to take the cover shot and turn it into a background image. but i dont know crap about computers and i can barely draw with crayons let alone using a mouse. anyway here is the pic if you guys want to play with it.

does the vr memory or whatever it is. does this have to load everytime the unit powers on. Also it always plays the first song in my ipod everytime i start my truck. it also gets confused when i play music videos. this is very annoying. and how come when i make a call it goes to the map page instead of the dial pad. If i need to press 0 for assistance when calling an automated service i have to get my phone out of my pocket and then push the 0 key. i am hoping this is all just a set up or config error on my part. this head unit is kind of annoying me right now and i have not even had
