Garrett, I just received the HDD. I am going to move forward in posting this image on Rapid Share for a faster download to the users here. One issue though.The image is different from the torrent. 1. this is the complete z3 image with all of your updates. 2. having said that, should I just zip the file and post it. that way people could just unzip it to their own HDDs or is there a process of creating an uploadable file that the HDD will recognize?

Well, here is the deal. I was tired of waiting. I just purchased a 40 gb HDD from Garret via this site and PayPal. It has the Z3 Image and all of the updates for it. If he says it is ok, I will rip the content from it and post it on Rapid Share. Only if he says it is ok. These guys put alot of work into these HDDs. So if that is ok with him I will move forward. My HDD should be here Wed or Thurs. One benifit of this would be that all of the updates are there, meaning that you would not have to mess with updating the unit. ght now we have one guy posting from a verizon fios, one guy posting from charter and me. I am getting a blazing 5kb/s down and am sitting at 17.3%. At this rate I will have this download completed in 3 weeks, bummer.... If you have the bandwidth seed at an unlimited rate, that would be a zero "0" setting. This is what I do. My upload is at 79 kb/s

If everyone on here who has a portion of the torrent files downloaded will seed what they have, The download would be much faster. I am seeding now and downloading, so is the guy I am waiting on. The torrent is a last resort effort. If the guy cannot come through with the files it is all we have. So seed it if you got it.

Bad News. The guy could not find the hard drive with the files on it... He was downloading from a torrent site and has 30% done. He does have a friend that he thinks has the files. Will keep you posted... Sorry guys.

No I was saying that I'd send u the jump drive for you to upload it. But after reading your earlier comment completely this time you mentioned you'd send me a user and password. That would work... Do we really need it on 2 sites though?

I have an extra legitimate rapidshare account. It have unlimited upload and download without wait time. I can give it to you if you can upload to rapidshare. Then we will have a copy on rapidshare for others. Just let me. I can email you the login info. Email me, we will figure something out. I may just send you a jumpdrive with the info so you do not have to download it, upload it and all the mess.

I will upload it to Rapidshare and Megaupoad. With two routes we should be good to go. In the past I have had sustained downloads from Megaupload of 700kbs with bursts of 1mbs, that is pretty fast. I am not sure about Rapidshare but I am sure it is at least on par if not better. With two places to get it I think everyone should be good to go. I will leave them there as long as I can, years if they allow it. No one will ever have this problem again. Is there any digital rights infringement that I shoulld be worried about? Mega Upload I created an account and will upload the data when I get it. Best part is...it is free and I get 200gb of storage. You cannot beat that. So I will give you guys the Link when I have it uploaded. It looks like a 3.7 gb file would take about 4 hours to load so do the math. I will have it up soon.

I’ll let you know what happens. Like I said I should be getting the jump drive back tomorrow. It is the guy's birthday today so he said he may not get to it tonight as he is going to go out and paint the town... In any case I will post back here and let everyone know when I am getting it and where I will post it. Hopefully I can find an FTP that is free, has enough space and post it there. The server and the t2 line I mentioned turns out to be a T1 (My office server) and can only upload 150 kb/second. This would be nice if you wanted to wait 7 days. No good... FTP is the way to go.

UPDATE: I should have the files in a day. I found a guy in town that works at a car stereo place. He has the image and is loading it to my 32gb jump drive tonight. If you want the image you can email me. jdsnowden@ncgs.com

Ok, I have a Z2 and want to upgrade. Unfortunately there is no FTP anymore and not one person seeding this file. At the rate I am going I will never get this file loaded. So, if someone will seed or load to an FTP I would be in your debt. You could also put it on a jumpdrive and send it to me. I would provide the Drive. 16GB drive is not that expensive anymore. I have 2 16gb SDHC and Micro SDHC for a camera and cell phone in my desk rite now.
