  1. ok cool i'll give that a try tonight. i built that thing into under my dash when i had it all off so i'll have to tear back in there. dang..should have tested it before but it's not too bad to get at. i guess i figured i had it hooked up right - the black bus cable into the head unit and the blue end (into the blue socket) on the BTB unit.
  2. I just got my D3 installed. I have a Verizon BB 8103E and everything seems to connect fine. It auto connects when I get in my truck - the address book went to the Pioneer just fine - but when I make a call I cannot hear anything over my speakers. I had someone call me and they could hear me fine...but nothing from them. I have tried changing setting in my phone but no luck getting anything. I also tried messing with the volume knob while they talk to me..cannot figure this out! The manual for the bluetooth box is pretty bad as far as any troubleshooting go and I think I've went through a
  3. That's EXACTLY what I needed on the first try - thanks so much. That install looks great to me - I'll go that way. I appreciate your time.
  4. I've done some searching and haven't really found what I'm looking for - so hope someone can help me with this. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram (no nav/infinity system). I've done alot of research on here about people isntalling D3's in those trucks. I guess what I'm wondering is this- 1. From what I understand the radio is still smaller than the hole in that Dodge bezel and haven't been ab
  5. I was curious if anyone has had any luck hooking a computer up to the AVIC-N1. I was thinking I'd try to find something to go from the S-Video out on my laptop and get the screen displayed on my head unit. That way I could scroll through songs and play the music on my computer's hard drive. Is this possible? I'd messed with a few things at home with a regular TV but usually seem to not be able to get color to display. Any ideas? Thanks everyone!
  6. Just download an audio converter off the net somewhere...I actually took "Super Audio Converter" off Ares and changed all those WMA's into MP3's.
  7. I have had the N1 for quite some times..just bought the CD-IB100II iPod interface through Pioneer. The website said it would work with my radio..but maybe not? I hooked it up as shown (well I think as shown). Power wire to constant power and ground is grounded, the ip-bus cable into the hideaway unit under my seat. No when I go to the AV screen to try to select it to bring it up the button to select it flashes on and off. Plus the iPod does not light up or charge..like it's plugged in. I might be doing something totally wrong..who knows. Any help? (One thing I did notice some places sho
