Is there an pioneer MP3 cd changer for the avic-n1 or can we use a universal brand. I forgot to ask... As long as it the unit (cheap brand changer) have ip-bus, can the Avic-n1 control it? If someone know for sure..let me know, found some cheap one on ebay. Want to put changer so i can play music through it while having the navi disc in at all times. And yes i know i can use ipod but avic-n1 ipod interface suck from what i've read on the forum.

Hi, i got my friend's data cd filled with .mp3 and some .wma, can the n1 play the .wma files? I search here and it mention about z1 and .wma but nothing about n1 being able to play it. I just wanna make sure it wasn't my unit that can't play it or generally all n1 can not play it.

If you upgrade the 60mp disc you will lose the ability to watch movies and use some of the navi function while driving. Even though you grounded the wire with the first bypass. There's a way but it requires opening the head unit and soldering two points on the board. And as for upgrading the disc, just pop it in and it will upgrade itself.

Burn the .mdf file..i use dvd decrypter and i burn the .mdf and it work for me..

did you use the correct two point..Is the n2 board the same as n1.. if so go redo and follow this http://www.eatmorepork.ca/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=5

On my N1..i did the solder method found on this forum and i update to the n3 map and it work fine... so the other method is to do the soldering..but its scarey to do.
