it could be because of bad gps antenna.

looks like you didn't do a research before you tackle this project. this is the problem with new cars these days. all of the controls are connected to the radio so you're limited to what you can have as far as having an aftermarket headunit. if you really wanna do this, you would have to get the metra kit for your accord. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-gdZs0C8DMV ... =120997864 it doesn't look that appealing, but you'll be able to use an aftermarket head unit.

i would like to know the answer to this as well because i did the same thing. i i changed my old N2 brain to N3. so i now have N2 face and using N3 brain,but everysince i've upgraded to N3 brain, my radio isn't producing any sound, and the ipod is not working. everything else works fine like gps, mp3, movies, etc...

the reason why i asked if you have component system was because i just finished installing my system and i also have avic-n3. i was having the same problem before .... the sound would just cut out at high volume. what i did to fix it was reset the headunit so all the settings are in flat and then just set the gain of your amp conservatively. i'm not sure if this will fix your problem, but just a thought. it did fix my problem so i'm just sharing my experinence.

are you using component system or just stock speakers?

it's just the regular local radio. i know it's no big loss, but it'll be nice to have all the functions working. if i can get it fix ... why not?

i meant no music output from the radio, but i hear the beeps when i press on the buttons. does that make sense?

hi guys ... i'm pretty new to the site and doing a lot of reading and learning as much as i can. i also tried to search before i made this thread. here's my situation ... i bought a used Avic-N2 and then later upgraded the brain to N3, but now my radio seems like it's not working anymore. it doesn't output any sound at all ... not even any static. i do get some sound when i press something like the station though. now i don't know if my antena is not working or the brain is messed up. everything was working before when i had my N2, but now my radio is not working. is there anything

i just did the same thing. i now have the N2 unit and N3 brain, but it seems like the CD-IB100 doesn't work on N3? it was working on my N2 brain before. also ... eversince i replace the brain to N3, my radio doesn' t output any sound. is there anything that i can do to fix the radio problem? thanx in advance.
