gotcha. my first mistake was to assume id see 3d buildings all the time.

i have a 09 Trailbazer SS and you have to trim the oem radio brace to fit aftermarket radio's . score the lower edge a few times and it will snap off.

I just moved from NYC and now live in Atlanta and never seen any 3D buildings. I thought it was 3D view 24/7.

I just installed this not more then 2 months ago with no issues until now. The other day i took off driving and the unit turned off/on 2 times within 10mins and hasnt done it since. anyone having or heard of this issue?

I cant get my navi to show 3D buildings no matter what. ive checked all options and dont see anything im missing ( yes, 3d is turned on )

I checked all the grounds and finally removed all the wiring connected to the oem harness and the noise is still there. only happens when the vehicle is in gear with or without the radio connected.

fixed it. bad ground on the E-brake line

i found that the wire that was in the #2 location for the grounded mute wire wasnt grounded good enough. re-crimped the connector at the ground bolt and now the radio doesnt turn off. now i just have to fugre out where this whine in the upper dash speakers is coming from which wasnt there before so out come the radio again.

my mute wire is in the stock location and attached to the brown line from the gmos04 so there is no way it can be moved over as that pin location is being used. im trying to stop the radio from shutting off when using the phone/onstar

Ive tried looking for the bypass for this but had no luck. i want to allow my radio to stay on when i use my phone button on the steering wheel or onstar. thanx for any help

im having a similiar problem with my z2 - its in a 09 trailblazer SS with the correct adapter and when i hit the phone button the sounds goes away but the unit doesnt shut off like the OP.

I cant even get my 3g to pair.
