I have the avic f900bt with the 2.0 firmware update. Unit worked great for first couple months, then one morning decided to show exact same problem. Unit would light up and show splash screen then black out. Tried the reset button but nothing seemed to work. Read the post for reinstalling the firmware update and was just about to attempt all of that but thought would try one last thing first. I started it up, same thing.. went to the black screen, after it was in this screen i pressed and held the reset button at the same time as the eject button for 5 seconds and ...presto she was working aga
