  1. I contacted Pioneer Finland today and they told me that the update will be available here after 1-2 weeks for about 150 euros. They said that you will only receive a "code" after purchase which lets you order those SD cards from the page where you have registered your player. They said that those SD cards only work with my player (actually the lad told me that you can make it work with every player by just changing the S/N to a file inside those cards so I think the "grey" update also works). The price is pretty "salty" here but it will include free map updates for a year...
  2. I havent registered my player, is back of the unit the only place to see the serial number?
  3. I asked about this new series from my contact in Pioneer Headquarters in Belgium and he said that Pioneer will release F9110 and F-300 players in june-july. He didn't say anything about new series. And why would Pioneer release X-Series when they already have that (at least in Europe there is AVIC-X players).
  4. Nokia E71 seems to be working fine, haven't had any problems.
  5. And also for the F-700BT i hope Yes, they said that the update is for F-Series.
  6. Just contacted Pioneer headquarters in Belgium and they said that new Firmware for F-900BT (european model) will be released in june. They also said that there is a possibility that it will include new Navteq maps which replace TeleAtlas. So at least in Europe, I think we have to buy the firmware/maps package because the old version of firmware doesn't support Navteq maps (according to Pioneer).
