  1. I HAD MY FIRST Z2 INSTALLED IN APRIL , IN JUNE IT WAS REPLACE WITH ANOTHER EARLY PRODUCTION UNIT. IN THE CASE OF BOTH OF THESE UNITS THEY STARTED TO FREEZE, ON BOOT WITHIN 6 WEEKS OF INSTALL.. TODAY DEALER INSTALLED A MANUFACTURE DATE OF JULY UNIT AND I WAS TOLD THAT THIS UNIT PLUS AN UPDATE TO BE RELEASED BY THE END OF THE MONTH WILL CURE THE PROBLEM WITH BOOTING IN HOT WEATHER...I HOPE I AM GETING A STRAIGHT AND TRUE STORY OR I AM GOING TO USE THIS UNIT AS A $2200.00 BOAT ANCOR..
  2. Help!! I finally got a replacement Z2 that works when its hot outside (95 degrees and up ) , now I need to get it to sound right . Does anyone have a suggestion on what amp and speakers might sound the best in my application. Note I like good highs and mid-range and real crisp bass.. THANKS IN ADVANCE ....
  3. My z2 always freezes on boot if the outside temp shown in my car exceeds 92 degrees and the car has been in the sun for 1 hr or more. Is this a normal condition or should I seek a replacement unit
  4. Has anyone checked to see if any of the pins put out 2.5 volt and if there is a pin that does, use it to power the other pin
  5. misfit, thanks for the prompt reply, will the green and white wire , signal the z2 into day or night mode when the auto lamps are set, thanks in advance
