seeing as in av2 mode the HU is looking to play Audio and display Video I doubt there is any way to show your custom background when your mp3 player is hooked up. Just my .02 cents ...

seem's to me that t his isn't the place to come for help. As I read thru post's from other people ... MOST OF THEM HAVE NEVER BEEN ANSWERED !!!!! Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder if there's any other avic forum's I can check out.

To adjust the seperate bass and treble settings you have to have the eq Extender on ... instead of off. It's the button near the bottom right of the screen when you enter the audio menu

I'm fairly new to the avic world with my purchase of a used n3. When i first got it from my buddy the ver.60 Nav disc's were badly scratched. I downloaded the newest disc's the 80MT version, loaded them into the HU and everything worked fine. That was 3 weeks ago, and yesterday i went to use my Nav and it was unable to calculate a route to ANYWHERE !!! Not sure what's going on here, I tried using a len's cleaning disc but to no avail. Somebody out there .... PLEASE HELP A NEWBIE !!!
