fastpakr - That is exactly what I did. Makes complete sense what your saying. Looks like I just need to do the extra step of modding the Data file once 3.01 is installed. No big deal this will only take a couple minutes more.

Has anyone been able to update from 3.0 to 3.01 with the update file being premodded with the software bypass? I keep getting an error saying file does not match when it starts the install. I didn't have any issues going from 2.0 to 3.0 with the 3.0 file being modded at the time of install but this 3.01 update is giving me some issues.

I just upgraded to 3.0 with format and it removed all mine, I was glad I don't know what I was doing adding that may pins.

The 3.0 update posted in this F forum has them for the F series units. They all show up for me now.

The question still remains, I would assume that this wouldn't be an issue but I would rather hear it confirmd from someone who knows more about computers instead of just assumeing it myself because all I can do is follow the instructions everyone here posts. In other words I need to say great job and thanks to the people who write instructions and provide the files on this site, because even someone like myself who basically has zero programming knowledge is able to successfully use the hacks and mods provided on this site and get them to work.

Any reason why you couldn't eliminate step 12 and just mod the park break speed to 256 in the DATA file in the flash dump that is being copied into the my flash disk before they are copied over opposed to copying the flash dump over and then recopying the DATA file? Same quesion goes for the 3.01 update writing over the 3.00 DATA?

Same thing happend to me one time, after I put the entire dash back togeher. I didn't think of testing the most basic functions. I got the DVD video to work while in motion with the bypass. I was so happy about this I forgot to connect the antenna input, I realized it two days later when I wanted to listen to a cubs game, quite annoying.

Thanks rcracer, those cleaner images were what I needed to fix the problem.

I saw all these good images on here so tried making my own for my f90 in Corel Paint Shop and it came out looking to "pixely". What do I need to do to get the text and logo looking sharp like all the other ones on here? I was hopeing someone else would have already made one so I searched though the site an was only able to find one other Saleen image and It was too personalized to that individual so I thought I needed to make my own.
