Tried that. The MyFolder on my hd is corrupt, that is why I need to re-format the hd and reinstall the OS

My hard drive on my 700bt is corrupt. I need to format the hd and re-install the O.S. and then the navigation application. Any help on how to do this would be appreciated.

I have a 700BT. Starting last night, the machine boots when I turn on my car as normal. But when it goes from the Pioneer boot screen to any other screen(map, radio,settings) it shuts down. Absolutely nothing. I hit the reset button, and the same thing happens. I see the Pioneer boot screen, then the machine shuts down.

I copied only the data.zip file, and my system continually rebooted. Any idea why, or how to fix it?

Why is it the brake setting is set to 16, instead of the 256 requested by many. For some reason, every time I make a change, my system does notting but reboot, so I must leave the data.zip file as I get it.

Keeper, I tried to change the brake speed as you suggest, but once again, all my system ever does is reboot. Can you please add the 256 to your pioneer.ini file.

That is not how I was doing it, but I guess that is how I will try it now. Thanks

I have tried a number of times to change the ini file so the brake stays off, (256 instead of 16), but I must be zipping it wit h incorrect settings on 7zip, because when after I copy the zip file, my gps keeps rebooting. What are the correct 7zip settings?

I like the Mod, but the brake speed msg drives me crazy. Can you change the speed in the ini file to 256, so it does not disable the mod when driving please?.

Yet, in driving on a the highway in Toronto, the speed warning was running

I just checked the Canadian site. the update to 3.0 is still not available to order or pre-order.
