Hey Rob, I was wondering if you could make me a few custom icons. I'd like the Iphone AV instead of the Ipod AV. Iphone with @book but I was wondering if its possible to put the book orange? and as for the NAV i'd like for you to incorporate my car with the compass yours stuff is sick! photoshop all the way !!! -

Software mod "bypass" confirmed - Put away your wi
unratedave replied to jasonnorm's topic in Hacks/Mods
your totally going the wrong way bud. look under Hardware bypass for dummies. you also need to relacate the mute wire from white harness from pin 1 to pin 4 down below because it knows your in motion after you start getting speed. the green wire needs to be grounded. not your actual parking break wire. once you have relocated the mute wire to pin 4 now you need to ground that one also. just look in the forum for Hardware Bypass and not software bypass. -
you just have to ground pin 4. they all say to use the mute wire since most people dont use it. its alot easier...

i needed to buy the actual Pioneer IU230V cable, works perfect, downfall is thats its 50$CND

I have completed the hardware bypass it works ok for the most part but its because i broke the metal pin at the end of the mute wire, my question for you, I instaled it into a 2003 Mazdaspeed protege and now my ABS and E-brake light in my dash are on??? its like my car actually thinks its in park or something :s
