I ended up buying the Metra AXXESS XSVI-5520-NAV kit to interface the oem wires with my Alpine NVE-N872A Navigation System. The parking brake, reverse, and VSS wires are included in the kit. I snagged it off ebay for $65.

I have a 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid, and the VSS wire is missing on the connector you pointed out. Does anyone know where the VSS wire is located on the Ford Escape Hybrid? Any help on this would be amazing!

There is a similar post like this, asking where the vss wire is on a 2008 Ford Escape V6. Unfortunately, there is a difference between the V6 wiring and the Escape Hybrid wiring. On my middle connector, pin 1 location- the vss wire is missing! Can anyone help me find the vss wire on my 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid? I need to find it in order to install my Alpine IVA-W200 Touchscreen Display Head Unit with my Alpine NVE-N872A. I contacted installer.com and they recommended I buy the PAC C2r-FRD1 to interface the Alpine Nav unit. I'm not sure if I need it though. Any help would
