Is this wire necessary for operation, if so why, what is it's purpose? Thank You, Matt

So can anyone tell me what this bypass allows the unit to do? Will my reverse cam still work correctly? Sounds easier than the software hack and a lil less risky.

Please help. This is not my frist car stereo install, but I am thoroughly confused. It has no wires for the speakers ie front left front right so on and so forth. It only has rca plugs for front channel and rear . Is there an adapter for cars that dont use rca style plugs? One install place told me to use a set of rca plugs and plug them into the unit then splce the other ends. Ony thing is how do I know + from - ? Left from right? Please help
