  1. After Several attempts at fixing the problem, replacing cables etc....I finally conquered it!! The RCA connections are the problem. Clip the RCA connectors and hardwire them. Problem Solved. The sound quality actually improved a bit as well. No thanks to Pioneer, they just want you to keep purchasing new cables from them.

  4. Same sob story....new harness bought and installed, same result. My truck has been to the audio shop 3 times now and nothing changes. Has anyone tried stripping the RCA jackets and hard splicing the wiring???
  5. To be clear, is it the pins on the back of the unit or the RCA harness itself? I have previously replaced my harness and it work for several days and is now back to cutting out again. I talked to Pioneer and they wanted me to send my unit back. I would like to exhaust every option before I do that though.
  6. replaced the factory RCA harness, It sounded great......for 4 days. Right Channel is dropping off again. Problem obviously lies with the pins on the unit itself, not the easily replaceable harness. Anyone sent the unit back to pioneer for repair?
  7. I actually replaced the factory RCA harness, it lasted 4 days, right channel dropping off again.....anyone had luck sending the unit back to Pioneer for repair since it is obviously the pins on the unit NOT the harness
