  1. If you haven't found it yet you just need to change the voice from Jason to Samantha.
  2. Hey John, I am working on adding the current speed and elevation when navigating to dpdurst's naviagtemap_800_480.ui. David had these in the 2.0 version of his mod and I liked them. It requires having 4 boxes on the lower left so you can have current speed, elevation, time to dstn, and distance to dstn. I have been working on the code this afternoon and will test it tonight at home. I thinking my problem at the moment is getting all of the x, y, w, and z values right so that everything is lined up. I also can't find the code for the map scale to make sure I don't have things overlappi
  3. John, Use 7zip to open the achive; then navigate to the file location; right click the "navigatemap_800_480.ui" file and edit it. You will need to tell it to use notepad as the editing program. Paste the code between the STOPFLYOVER code and the new compass code, as below: ; the STOPFLYOVER command also stops other kinds of simulations (i.e. saved track replay) ; ; ; ; ;277 Mute ;new compass This should work, but I will test it tonight. Let me know how you get on. Duane PS: I don't believe that the bpm size or dimensions are important to them wo

  5. Mute button code is not present in David's" 3.0 - 9/17/09 8:55pm data.zip (v1.2)". I am sure it was an oversight on his part and he will probably add it when he gets back from vacation. If you want to do it yourself in the meantime I believe that you need to add the following code to the navigatemap_800_480.ui file ( in this folder - data.zip\ui_pioneer\800_480\ui\). ;277 Mute You also need to add the "button_volume.bmp" and "button_volume_mute.bmp" to this folder (data.zip\ui_pioneer\800_480\). BMP's are attached. I have not tested the above, but the mute code is straight
  6. Hey David, Thanks for your quick response. I saw that the house number display code was different. I tried to use the 2.0 one because it used the "housenumber_right.bmp" (and left), which is centered and has the little house in the middle. I presume I can use the new code/schema from your 3.0 file but use "housenumber_right.bmp" instead of "blackstripe_hnum.bmp" to get the same visual as the 2.0 code. I would also need to change the x, y, and z values to get it to load in the middle. I also saw that in the 2.0 data6.zip, you used code "start hidden; end hidden" whereas in the
  7. Hey David, Thanks for posting your mod; it is much appreciated. I had just starting trying to port your 2.0 mod to 3.01, but may not need to do that now that you have posted your mod. What I had been doing was just adding your mods for the following to the standard 3.01 build. Basically, simply adding your code from your 2.0 data6.zip build into the 3.01 "navigatemap_800_480.ui". * Nav mute during navigation * Linear compass with delete route function * Shortcut keys when no route is present (along top) * GPS status (bottom right) * Current speed and altitude when no route
  8. Does anyone know if this branding.zip work with Pioneers new firmware 3.01?
  9. Hi, I have a problem i hope someone can help me with. I am running the following: * 2008.04 US maps with the 2008.10 POI's * gpssoftware.us data6.zip (http://www.gpssoftware.us/pioneer.htm) * hacked ezrider.exe and world map license (http://www.gpssoftware.us/pioneer.htm) * vblue42's updated branded poi's (HOW TO: Add Branded POI icons :UPDATED: 04-21-09) * cmh928's hacked Samantha's TTS (IN PROGRESS: Fixing up Samantha) * hacked sounds to silence.wav (I Got Rid of my Key Beeps!) Everything is working fine; however, on the fixing up Samantha thread, CMH928 says that the hacked S
  10. I posted it here because CMH928 was saying that Samantha works best in 2007.10, and 69sixpackbee said that if he reverted back to 2007.10 he would loose the use of 2008.10 POIs. I will ask in the maps thread about compatibility between 2007.10 maps and 2008.10 pois. Cheers.
  11. How do you go about reverting to the 2007.10 maps? I tried simply overwriting my 2008.04 California map with the 2007.10 California map file, but when it booted I just had the green basemaps and no streets. Also, why do you lose the 2008.10 POI's if you downgrade from the 2008.04 maps to the 2007.10 maps? Are you sure you didn't put the California POI file in the California map location??? I didn't replace the california poi file, just the california map file. And, I checked, I did put it in the correct place. So i was running the 2007.10 california map file and the 2008.10 CA po
  12. Sorry of this is in the wrong topic. I have 2008.10 US POI's and the 2008.04 maps with a hacked ezrider and license. Multiple times recently I have been testing directions to known POIs and when I get to the POI the unit still tells me that the POI is a few blocks away. The POI address is correct in the NAV listing and my location on the map is the correct POI address. Anyone got any idea of what is going on?
