Do any of you live in a cold environment? I have an F-series and have been having the same problem but only now that it is cold. The problem is the iPod doesn't like to function properly in cold weather; so once it warms up..maybe a few minutes or so into your drive it decides to turn on and the Pioneer unit automatically switches over to the iPod source because it believes you just plugged the iPod in. The only solution I have found is to 1) deal with it until it warms back up, or 2) take your iPod inside every time so it is warm when you start your car. Hope that helps.

This is false, I was able to use the automatic update from the Pioneer website..if you are unable to perform the update then you did something wrong and should start over, unless you don't mind copying the files for each update.

Is there a setting in the 2.0 software we could transfer into the 3.01 software which would allow us to see the street names again. I prefer leaving my system zoomed out so I can see upcoming streets but I also want to know the name of that street too.

I have an iPhone 3GS and I can listen to my voicemail play through my speakers, I have to control the voice mail with the phone but other than that when I press play in the visual voicemail panel it plays though the speakers without a problem.

I'm not quite sure, I haven't driven near a building yet that used to be on there with my mod's... Remember, I have an F700BT so they weren't supposed to support 3D buildings in the first place... IF it added it that'd be amazing! I have the F700BT and the the 3.01 firmware installed, and yes there are 3D building in it.

How did you install? Have you Modified any files? Should be working if you updated WINce by format and copied all the 3.0 files to My Flash Disc Then copied all the 3.01 files to the proper locations. I installed just the way it said to on here and then updated to the 3.1 from pioneers web. Other then that I have done nothing differnt.. I had the same problem with my system rebooting, however I also had the perpetual "System Startup in Progress" display. I finally solved this by unzipping the file with a different zip program. Hello, have a quick question..and any help would be greatly appreciated. I have upgraded my unit (F700BT) to the 3.0 Firmware. Everything is working fine (with the exception of the road labels in 3D mode but I can live with that). However I do have one problem still, I have been unable to instal the 3.01 update..when I do the System Start Up graphic stays displayed and the unit reboots, I just went back to 3.0 to fix this. When I am in Testmode and I check the CE version it says 5.0 despite the fact I did the CE upgrade using the files from the X-series 3.01 update folder. Am I not succes
