  1. I read the manual and ordered the 16GB. the 16 works fine, not sure about weather a 32GB will work.
  2. OK, Can anyone help me? I have tried this a few times but no luck. I moved the pin over on, I clipped the mute wire that is now in the moved pin to the Green Parking Break wire and clipped the green parking break wire to the ground. I did not do the below but I am wandering. Do I need to hook up the mute from my system to the mute wire I used? What else could I be missing. As far as I know the system resets every time I unplug it. HELP I really want ot get this fixed.
  3. Just to clarify on the above reply. The XM interface is just one component and presently is a little nicer for display. The Sirius interface has the Pioneer unit and a separate Sirius interface also. I personally went with the Sirius unit so I could get NASCAR and NFL but that premium channel lineup should be the only reason you choose one over the other. On my Chevy truck I was even able to use my existing XM antenna for my Sirius interface and it works without any problem.
  4. If you use Crutchfields you can save $20 in a referral code. Just use the Referral Code: psgbs-2pjtd-k9jyc)

    Accessories?

It's pertty long. If you look in the cable box you will see something like a 6 ft cable.
  6. I felt with the amount of money you pay that I only wanted to get this from a major company. I went with Crutchfield they had free shipping and it only took two days to get it. I also got the 5 year warranty to take care of any issues that happen.
  7. I would love to see the boot up also.
  8. Hi stevecar, You do not need the cable to play your ipone or ipod touch (2G) since you can use Bluetooth. "BUT", you loose all of the nice features of everything the iPod has. Think of the Bluetooth as an extended headset. It really does nothing but play the music through the stereo no information is displayed on the screen. Since you are looking at getting a new tuner think about what channels you like more. NFL/NASCAR are only on Sirius and NHL/MLB are only on XM. You can pay an additional 5ish to get the "Best of" but I found it smarter to just pick what you want most.

OK... Stupid question. Where can I find out what the heck the "3D Gyro Sensor" is and what is does? I never even heard of it.
  10. I guess the funny thing is that the manual does not even reference it. The only place that does is the news release that originally did and all of the sites have just copied and pasted the statement. It seems like such a good feature did not get a little more focus. I know it is small feature but it is one that Pioneer has been missing.
  11. Kingdaddy, When you get the Access interface that configures your wires, it allows for OnStar to still work.
  12. I'm telling you, it's there. Just kind of weird they didn't go over it. I also found one other article that says the same thing. I swear it is there. http://gadgets.softpedia.com/news/AVIC- ... 62-01.html
  13. dbnichols, Can you tell me what I should see when it works correctly? I have a warning screen when my system boots up telling me that something is not configured correctly. Is that what I should always see?
  14. Hi Joe, I started with the X910BT but was just not that impressed for the $$$$. I upgraded to the Z110BT and all I can say is WOW. It is worth the extra money. It is not the exact same functionality as the X series, in most things it is better. One of my favorite things is the Contact List that is viewed from my phone, over Bluetooth, I don't have to transfer them and they will always be up to date. I also liked the Bluetooth Stereo. . And it also ,by default, has RDS!
  15. I just called Pioneer asking about why RDS was not documented in the manual and they had no idea it had it. The basic FM stations that broadcast RDS will display correctly on the screen. It will even show up as now playing when on the Map screen. Big Surprise, besides that. What a Wonderful System!
  16. I would love to know this also. I have On-star in my truck? Is there any way to patch into the wire and avoid having two microphones in my vehicle?
  17. I am looking at doing the same thing. I was warned about the XM antenna either burning out or just not working well due to how the signal is received. Any comments on that? The funny thing is I have a 2005 Silverado also. Just getting ready for the Z-110BT myself.
  18. I just saw the email from Crutchfield! Now if they had an ETA on the Z110BT!
