  1. For removing it: I filed down the end of a paperclip to make it thin, and then stuck it in into the slot the mute wire was in, towards the middle of the plugs - so the mute wire was closer to the edge. If you look down there you'll see a plastic wedge holding it in place. With the paperclip-wedge blocking that, I shoved another paperclip through the bottom to force the mute wire out. Also ensure it's in all the way when you move it. I thought I had done it but either it does need a parking brake grounded (I've had the X910, Z130, and now Z150 and the first two were moved mute and parkin
  2. I'm planning on upgrading to the AVIC-Z150BH and I was wondering if anyone with the CD-IH202 cable had any luck switching back and forth between 30-pin and lighting using each one's digital A/V adapters? Since I'm assuming USB is charge/control and HDMI supplies audio/video input, it seems like it would be possible. I ask as I would like to use my iPhone 5 for audio/video playback fairly often, but also use my iPod classic as a music library that stays in the car.
  3. Quick question: I have read that this works with the AVIC-X910BT, but does it work after I've applied the Firmware Update 3.020100? Related question, Does this mod disable the nag screens? I see a post on using Carver's commonlib.dll, but I don't see that thread in the Completed Mods/Themes forum. Or my other option, will this mod work in together with the FX 3.1 mod?
