  1. I'm sure this has been asked, but I've searched and can't find an answer. I have an F90BT that we had in an old hot rod. The car is torn down now so I've put it in my truck. In the hot rod it was mostly there for looks and sound...not GPS. Anyway, it's in my truck and I notice that the any route I'm on basicly shows me traveling east or west. In other words, screen orientation doesn't my rought as going " up " the screen, but instead, going to the right on the screen. I've never had this issue with my Z units or my Garmin. Is there an adjustment that will orient my travel to the top of the sc
  2. I'm just guessing, but I think I've had nearly 10 drives upgraded by Garret. A couple for myself but mostfor my customers. Each one works perfectly when they are returned. The service is quick and pain free and I wouldn't go anywhere else for my upgrading! I bet we had the only '48 Dodge with an upgraded Z unit and in a few months our '39 Pontiac will also have one of Garrets upgraded hard drives in it as well......once I finish building the console for the Z.
  3. Hey guys, I am not talented enough to make these....but I have tried. I have downloaded some software to help me, but in the mean time, I'd like to know if someone might make me a few images for my Z unit......I'd like them to be some classy looking pics...a Pontiac Torrent possibly in the images, Pontiac Logo, maybe a few of the real cool images with lots of color, maybe some carbon...maybe brushed aluminum......and a few Scenic images...lake, mountains, sunset, etc. Some with a Pontiac torrent...some with the Logo....mix and match. Any help would be appreciated as I have seen some really coo
  4. I've had Garret upgrade 2 drives for me....I liked the one I put in my wifes car, I decided to get another Z for myself and immediately sent the drive off to Garret....got it back today and again, perfection. And fast turn around too!! Until you get your drive upgraded by Garret, you just don't know what your missing. I'm hoping to pick up another Z unit in the next few days.....to put in a '47 Buick....and yeah, you guessed it, as soon as I bring the Z home, I will be sending the drive to Garret for an upgrade. On top of his excellent work, he's just a great guy too....lots of help with all t
  5. Hey Guys, Can anyone tell me if there is a harness or interface for the Z2 which would allow the use of the OEM volume, seek, etc. controls on the steering wheel of my wife's '07 Pontiac Torrent? If so, how do I go about locating one or are there any auto/electronic sites which offer these interfaces? Also, does anyone here have the wiring harness, the one for amps and video input....and might want to sell? I need one for the Z2. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  6. Hey Guys, I'm new to the forum and to the pioneer AVIC series of HU's. I've searched but can't seem to find info specific to my question...can you help me out? My N2 has a couple of addresses saved under the " Destintions " menu. They must have been from a previous owner. Is there a way I can get rid of these addresses? My unit has been upgraded with the most recent '08 stuff, and I would like not to lose anything if possible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  7. Well, this link didn't really help me out......cause my trucks not listed. I've got a '99 Chevy K3500 Crew Cab Dually(old body style) with the 7.4 BB....can anyone help me with the wiring on this truck?
  8. I was just told by my Pioneer repair guy, that you can mix and match any of the n1,2, or 3 HU's & Brains....but the 4's and 5's won't mix with the 1, 2, or 3 brains. I don't know much about any of them as I just purchased a used one myself...but my Pioneer guy seems to know quite a bit and does repairs quickly and correctly with new parts.
  9. Hey guys...I'm new to this forum and new to the pioneer "N" series units. I just picked up a few used units..and want to install one in my truck. At this point, I don't have an installation or users manual yet, but just posted in another forum here looking for them. In the meantime, can anyone help me with locating the wire on my truck for the speed sensor and what ever else that needs to be connected to get accurate speed, distance, etc. I've got a '99 K3500 (old body style), 7.4. If anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
