Is it possible to fix the problem by just deleting the files and not have a backup disk?

Can someone please give me detailed steps on how to enter into testmode on the Avic F90bt... i have been searching this forum for over an hr and still have not found the help i need.... I have never done an mods or hacking so im new to this kind of stuff... Also info on how to have Backup Files for the F90Bt would be greatly appreciated to. Thanks
