  1. UGH! This constant reboot is exactly what happen to my unit too!! I first had the X90BT but was having to send it in for a software re-install every other month so I cut a deal with Pioneer to swap it for this new unit citing the chronic troubles. After installing this new unit, I was SOO happy with it. Then day 2 I was driving down the road with the GPS routed to a home depot and the GPS started to freak out (exact same thing with the X90BT) then the dreaded restart happened and now it restarts every 2 - 5 minutes. Sometimes it will just be the software portion and the radio will be uninterru
  2. I am the frustrated owner of an F90BT. When the unit is working properly (but rarely), I love the system. However, I am my second unit (first had to be sent to Pioneer 4 times until they replaced it with a refurbished one) and now it just enters in a constant reboot. I've looked at other companies but Pioneer seems to have the best system if they can make a stable one. So, I am hoping that the issue I am having with this unit are because it is a first generation and that the newer units are more stable, more responsive, and process quicker (i.e. loading a 2GB SD). Could you please let me know
  3. 1) Past issues (reboots, freezing) -- None 2) Have you (or professional) upgraded your Avic to the latest update -- 3.01 Myself 3) Did the issue start before or after the update, if applicable? -- weeks after the update 4) Did the issue start after a hack, a mod or a bypass? -- nope, stable for weeks 5) How long have you had the hacks, mods or bypass? -- weeks 6) How long has the unit worked without a problem? -- weeks So sounds like my issue is the GPS system files reading this forumn. I was driving one day and noticed that my GPS could no longer keep on course with the map. I th
  4. Alright! Today I got the firmware 3.01 installed and fixed the brake bypassed fix. The mute cable had somehow lost its seating within the plug harness. I am plugging in directions, watchin movies, making phone calls, its great! You say: Why would I not get MSN if the antenna is plugged both into the HU Digi-III(?) tuner and the HD p10 tuner? Are you saying this because some setting will be off or because the decreased signal in the split antenna ends will no longer be strong enough for it? Thanks for clarify. You say: Doesn't this method still cause the cut-out in the musi
  5. I finally got my F90BT installed and 2/3s of the components, i am loving this thing! What I have going on: AVIC F90BT with the basics GPS, Microphone, bypass. I did not hook any of the speakers to the HU rather all three RCA outputs go to an external Clarion crossover. For the front I have a HPF at 1KHz going into Pioneer (300W? max) 2 Channel Amp running at 2 x Ohms for the four tweeter. components. The rears I have on the lowest HPF of 35Hz to a Kenwood (800W? max) running at 2 x 2 Ohms for all the mids. The bass will be set at the LPF and run Hifonics 2000W Mono-D amp which will push 2
