Cant get my AVIC-Z110BT navigation to work in the UK due to lack of mapping for this unit.. So selling it.. Its 3 month old and has warranty... Anyone interested?

Hey Thanks... I just sent them an email and some offered to buy my unit too... Although the UK version is WAY more expensive than the US one...

GD... Flag ship product doesn't mean - beats or equals all features on our competitors... Anyway - where did you buy your AVIC-F10BT from and how much?? I paid $1700 in California and I will just get the F10BT and sell the Z110BT on ebay or something..

Hey Hemiuk Do you have the Z110BT as well... what are you doing about the MAP issue then.. Just using the other media facilities and not using map at all?

So does this mean that Map info WILL only work on the model released for THAT particular country.. If so that kindof sucks for a flagship product - even my Garmin Nuvi allows for SD Map usage... Are their any tech guys from Pioneer on the board can assist? Otherwise I will be selling my Z110BT and getting the UK version LOL

Anyone with any technical knowledge know if the Z110BT can be updated with a European Map?? Maybe the map from the new AVIC-F10BT (European Version of the Z110BT) ANY help greatly appreciated..

Anyone have any info on putting European maps on the new 110BT model - I think a new system for UK/Europe just released but I have my car being imported soon to United Kingdom and its a Z110BT with American map!!

so does this mean that the european maps can be extracted to use on my Z110BT?? Or do you imply the new system has to be used exclusively ??

Maybe I am a bit premature but I have just installed the Z110BT in a car I am bringing back to the UK next week... I also have a Garmin Nuvi which has a SD Card slot. The nuvi was simple enough to buy a USA map (as I came from the UK a few months ago) and load it on the SD Card - the nuvi was in business immediately... The Z110BT though does not seem to have a European map... can I use a map for a European Pioneer nav system that exists... or is there gonna be a release of a similar model over there and I can get a European map... Any help appreciated as I love this piece of equipment
