  1. I have an F910bt, i did my hardware bypass/handbrake bypass by connecting the handbrake wire (green if i remember correctly) to ground, just connect the green to the black on the stereo loom, i did it with a scotchlock, took about 5 seconds, job done. Paul.
  2. Try a different usb stick or an sd card instead. One of my F910's automatically started playing the usb music as soon as the unit booted, even though when i switched off the ignition the radio was playing , i tried a different usb stick and it was fine, radio started playing. Paul.
  3. Ok, when i first installed the final mod, tmc version, i had a female speed camera voice, and when i adjusted the volume slider for the female voice i'd get a sample of the volume, however, now i have the male voice again hen i go past a speed camera and when i adjust the volume slider for the speed camera i don't get any sample. I'll end up selling my head unit at this rate. Paul.
  4. Hi IDT. The switching off issue has gone away, it only happened after the first boot up after the new mod was installed, so i can now switch off via the menu. The pop up window saying out of memory and the cache thing still comes up when i try and find or navigate to a postcode on an un-named road, this happens on both of my F910's, one has the final tmc mod, the other has the previous mod. If someone out there (UK based) has an unmodded unit then perhaps they could try this postcode, GL19 3BE, please could you post what happens. Thanks. Paul.
  5. Hi IDT. I just installed your latest mod, it's very good, one thing i have notuced though, i can't switch my unit off via the menu>source>off, i have to actually switch off the ignition. One more question, if i try to find an address via a post code and that post code happens to be an unmarked road, the unit freezes up and i get a little grey widow pop up saying something about not having enough memory, and something about the cache too, i can use the hard menu button and select the source>radio or whatever and get to that, but i can't get back to the map. Any thoughts ? Than
  6. Hi. Where is this latest mod ? I have 4.9 installed on one of my F910's, the new adjustable dimming is there now but not the new icons, ie, no favourites shortcut on the desktop screen. Thanks. Paul.
  7. My F910 does dual zone. I have a second monitor in the headrest, if i play a dvd it comes up on the second monitor, on the head unit at the same time i can watch the dvd or satnav. Paul.
  8. For me and all the others, one last request, WHERE DO WE SEND THE PAYPAL ? Thanks, Paul.
  9. I just did this mod, upgrade from the previous mod, the icons along the top haven't changed, no favourite button, although the new mods are there, the option for fading the icons and text colour change. I'd like the fav icon displayed but i don't want to loose the TMC icon, would it be possible to change the screen off icon for the fav icon, thereby still keep the TMC ? Thanks IDT, paypal coming to you soon. Paul.
  10. I just grounded the green to the earth with a scotchlock, i didn't do anything else, it works fine. I can have satnav on the front screen and dvd on the headrest for passengers, or i can have dvd on both screens, while i'm stuck at a standstill on the motorway or whatever. Paul.
  11. Hi Peperrami. I'm also UK based, i've had my F910 about a month now. What i did with my F910 is connect the handbrake cable to the earth, you can do this on the pioneer loom before you slide the headunit into the dash. If i remember correctly, the handbrake wire is green, just connect that to the earth(black) on the loom, use a scotchlock, that's it. If you want to improve the unit massively try IDT's mod, it completely changes the unit for the better. If you're near Bristol then give me a shout, i'll help you with it, i've done my F910 and my dad's F910, he's 60 and loving the mod.
  12. Wow, brilliant. Another question, sorry for being a pain, i've got IDT's mod installed with the icons along the top of the screen, i want to keep the icons along the top but use your sky and schemes, how do i do that ? I presume that there's something of your mod that i don't have to install ? Thanks again, Paul.
  13. Thanks for the very simple reply, i wish all instructions were that easy to follow. What about the zipped Data folder ? Thanks. Paul.
  14. Hi, this sky looks great. Where do i put it EXACTLY, i can put the file on my sd card and boot into tesmode and copy it to somewhere but where ? Does it go into schemes ? Does the download have to be unzipped ? I've already installed IDT's mod on my F910. Thanks, Paul.
  15. I think it makes sense, think about it, if you've got a route planned then it's probably because you're going out of your own area, in which case your presets won't be available, so it meakes sense to search for new stations, and the easiest way to do that is to push the knob left or right. Paul.
