1/ back up the map folder from your avic 2/delete the map folder from your avic 3/write the new map folder to your avic and you are good to go.... or i think u can run the new maps from a sd card....

unzip the first part ...and it will do all the work for you..

u wait about 20 min..it s no so bad or u dont download them at all and u stay with what u have!!!!!!! its free ......i mean... OR WWW.TELEATLAS.COM.....you order the new maps..u pay some$$$$$ and in a few days the dvd is at your door....

I cannot thank you enough! I'll give this a shot. If I get the 3D Bldgs. to work, I'll have everything upgraded to 3.0 that I want. Only now, it's definitely better and faster. i hope it will work for you.....it works for me

Looks like I could use some hand holding here... I did a search for the asbis...no file I did have all my old 2.0 files, but deleted all so I wouldn't be tempted to try to us them and mess up my 3.0 unit...not so smart? Could you please share yours? I should really put some superglue or something on that #$%#@! delete key! Thanks for ALL your help! i have no idea how to upload it in here.....???!!!

i think you need the buildings that came with the maps you have in. i think the 2009 ta maps dont work with the old buildings you have in the unit....maybe i am wrong i replaced all..maps and buildings and it work just fine.i have the 2009 TA maps and buildings
